Cast of Characters, Kilo, Studio Dog

Kilo, Studio Dog

Kilo, Studio Dog

I will try to post the cast of characters who I write about as they come to the studio.

It is appropriate in no way to make my dog first. He was a stray who came up to me one day while I was taking out the recycling. I felt something on my leg and though, oh crap, what is it, a RAT or raccoon??? When I turned around it was this silly dog. I asked around and no one knew who he was and I learned later that he was around the plaza for four days before he came up to me.

That was 3 months ago and many vet visits. He is a boxer pitbull mix of some sort. I never wanted a pitbull but here he is. He comes to work with me every day since I can’t leaved him at home for  that long. He has a crate he stays in when clients come. He is very funny.

In this picture he is being uncharacteristically “good”.

I have a studio dog too - a very large German Shorthair Pointer, who thinks the best place to be is right under my feet! Your guy sounds incredibly well trained!

Love your dog! It is always the best pets who choose their own masters — they love *you* more than anyone else. : )

Maybe you need to design canine collars inspired by Kilo. It could be a genuine expansion of the Patania legacy.

Kilo is darling! I think crate-training can make a better dog. . .good boy, Kilo. We have a Norfolk Terrier that comes into my studio, expecting a cookie each time. Consequently LOVES the studio. He brings another meaning to “raised” in the studio.

Kilo is absolutely DARLING! We have a shepard/lab mix who was abandoned - tied to a tree with a note under her collar. She’s goofy too but the best dog you could ever have to share company with…you have a great treasure in that friend there!! Enjoy every minute of him!
