I made this pendant ealier this summer ‘08. The turquoise is from a lot my grandfather , Frank Patania ,Sr., purchased in the early 1960’s, my father says the last lot of turquoise he bought before he died (in 1964). I have been looking at this turquoise for my whole career and wondering what to do with it. I had the stones on my bench for months then decided to put them together as shown. I had to put this material in 18K and wanted a forged pendant with interesting texture.
I have just a few pieces of this turquoise left and want to put some of it with diamond in 18K Gold. To me this turquoise is very special.
I made a link chain in 18K for it to hang on.
This piece is available through Mark Bahti’s web site, www.bahti.com . Mark has stores in both Tucson and Santa Fe and I believe he has this piece in Tucson.

Sam,
This one looks a little like a beetle, maybe you should try one. Very nice by the way. You have a nice way of mixing southwestern style with your own.
